The Union Has Come To Chernarus

There is a new group in Berezino. Called The Union (Gentlemen), we aim to move into some new areas of business and to generally increase Role-Play scenarios on the server.

We will be recruiting new members into the organisation over the next few days.

Our structure/hierarchy goes like this:

• Union Don: The heads of the organization.
• Underboss: Second in command, its the Underboss' job to keep the Union running and control  the various interests of the Union
• Capo: The Capo is a group leader and takes care of the "dirty work"
• Enforcer: The muscle of the Union, these guys are known for their use of violence and general thuggery.
• Associate:  Hired guns who have yet to prove themselves as worthy of Union membership

Our business interests include, but not limited to:

Protection rackets:

Protection racketeering is one of the Union's core activities

Union members pursue potential clients like aggressive salesmen. If a client rejects their overtures, members sometimes coerce them by                       
vandalizing their property or other forms of harassment. Physical assault is rare; clients may be murdered for breaching agreements or talking to the police, but not for simply refusing protection

Drug trafficking

The buying and selling of illegal drugs

Loan sharking

We will offer unsecured loans at resonable interest rates to individuals.

Arms trafficking

Everyone needs guns, so we will supply them to people at reasonable prices.

Benefits of being a member of the Union:

• the Union supplies all members with an AKM or stungun depending on the recruits skill level
• Members enjoy the protection and security that the Union provides
• the Union is a "All for one, and one for all" organisation, so if one member gets into trouble, the entire Union will rally for that member (Depending on the circumstances)
• The money collected by the Union will be distributed evenly among online members
• All members get The Union xml and rank which can be visible after their name ingame

Member Requirements:

• 25 weaponskill (or at least a handgun license)
• Ability to Role-play and not just start shooting or killing
• Mature personality
• the ability to resist replying when people flame/troll you for doing Union work (Silence works best
• Be prepared to go to jail for crimes, if you get caught and not to inform on other Union members while being interrogated by the filth
• Be prepared to make enemies
• Policemen are also welcome, we promise to be discrete when dealing with such matters. Officers can contact Dons or Capos ingame if they want to earn a little extra cash (in exchange for information)

Member code of conduct:

• When on Union business petty crime is not allowed. It attracts cop attention and will end up in a deathmatch
• If a cop fines you for speeding, pay the ticket and drive off. Unless its an unfair ticket.
• Murder is the a resort and should only occur if a civ calls the cops or if someone opens fire on a member first
• Each member must be armed at all times, with either a stungun/handgun and/or an assault rifle
• If a member commits a petty crime they have to pay the fine
• Members dont have to on Union business all the time, but when they do their own thing, they cant relay on the Union to back them up if they get into trouble. While on Union business, members will have full Union support

Union members can be recognised by their red-star and [The Union] xml. So, if you are mining or going about your normal business and a Union member approaches you to offer protection, it would be beneficial to all parties if you accepted their offer

This is for Role-Play and not deathmatching. If a Union member starts to kill civs without a RP reason they will be promptly issued with concrete shoes and taken out into Berezino Harbour for a swim.
