Easier Draw Weapon & More Cop Cars (Crown Vic)

It would be nice to have a hotkey set or available so that you press the button and it draws your weapon out of your inventory so you don't have to either use the animation to holster it, or go into your inventory to pull it back out again. It would make it more realistic to be able to quickly holster and unholster your weapon so that you don't have to have it pulled out all the time, and with a pistol you can't lower it like a rifle.

It would be nice to see More police cars, especially a Crown Victoria police car, this would be awesome, not sure if it has been suggested/working on it/not going to do it at all.

Actually, Delta Hawk made it but I didn't work in multiplayer, so citylife fixed it, and then go insane as they do

Not quite, remember for SLR we incorporated it.  Then had to act like it never happened because we got threatened.  City Life's modelers may or may not had fixed it, but it was never publicized and such assertions are a guess.  They are not using mentioned content.

Bay City's representative (If you want to call this childish ass that) Gunner ran around claiming DCMA violations on the behalf of Delta Hawk towards killerc22 because they were being anti-competitive, even though they had no real or complete game-mode.  Their claims were based on the fact the model was gimped and an unenforceable restriction was put on the downloadable public version that tried going off saying you couldn't fix the scripts, when they are BIS property.  Rather, BIS won't typically get involved with the issue, but since the scripts run through their platform, they are at the mercy of their reasoning.

To date no official compromise or statement from BIS has been made about that EULA clause.  As it can be interpreted, arbitrary restrictions on content that is bundled with scripts, tooled specifically for use with their games is illegitimate to enforce as best.

The issue had nothing to do with the model, which cannot be reasonably decompiled anyway, at least not in P3D form.  Texturing properly requires RVMATS which are most likely binarized, so you can't even effectually fix/replace skins either, not properly at least.  At the time they were still on ArmA 1 when the fear mongering became the issue that it has been known to be.

No one wants to risk doing it because big companies will not even check DCMA abuse for legitimacy, and you are guilty by default.  It's a hard sell preempting these threats by communicating with social/download/mod sites about their true nature since these hosts are autonomous rotary machines chugging bits of data and have no real people behind them.  Lawyers cost too much to have on hand, so PR issues in the public domain have to be solved by response and not prevention.

The wheels of business won't stop to consider if such claims are legal or not, you are at fault because someone stirred up a bees nest, and their risk analysis people and financial puppets won't let such possibility of danger occur, so they just push the issue back out the ass end and let it fall on everyone because they simply don't care.  There's no negotiating with these kinds of authors, so I just boycott using their content as my own kind of risk mitigation.

CL needs the holster hotkey because when i'm a cop ill keep my gun out (I have it lowered) because it takes to long of time if you need it also when you have the animations up you cant move so as your sitting behind cover he can walk up to you and put a cap in your head wile your still trying to get your gun out if the hot key was available then I think 98% of cops would have there guns holstered.

KILLERC22 already has models of crown vics that he owns and has made himself.


They aren't deltahawks and he has sirens/lights that seem to work in multiplayer.

I also helped him design some custom skins for police and just fun civ cars.

I don't know, but those new fancy rides, im not a big fan of them, speed is way to much increased in my feeling, you know: 'Good Old lada, skoda, sundat, ... lovers' have no chance to get away these days, i know the fancy rids are cool and all that, but this RPing is going on in a 3world country, i don't think we shut get all fance rides in it... but ye who am i to say   Ill get some crappy woops out my hands.
