When people are jailed
« on: July 08, 2009, 05:37:16 pm »
Whenever a player is jailed it would be deemed as a punishment,

Ive noticed that players still receive paychecks whilst in jail.
Surely it would be better that people who are jailed get no money. just like dieing and missing a paycheck!

Yes good point

maybe perhaps some sort of penalty or a decrease in ones paycheck then...

but the jail is merely a holding station while people still receive money, they will only be released to commit crimes over and over.

Jail is a holding facility and not a rehabilitation institution as it lacks due to budget cuts in the real world anything worthwhile which would sway criminals away from further life of crime. A 50% reduction of one's reoccurring striped is probably more fair than garnishing all of it.
