RP-Mods looking for new ArmA 2 Servers

When someone want money from us, we could rent our own server without any help. Hetzer.de -> 50€ -> new server.

We are talking to clans who are interested in hosting CL, communities who are running a server with some free cpu time and so on. We are not interested in paying for a second server because we do not have the money. That is why we are asking if someone trustable member of this copmmunity "donate" his/their server.

We do not want to own the server, but we need access rights to setup and administrate CL on it. We have some ruby scripts and other things for easy restarting without letting everyone on the root.

Well, It's all about budget. How much are you willing to pay for it? I can offer the ARMA2 server for anything between the prices of $30-50. When it comes to access you will have full access(Remote desktop,TC admin,FTP,etc). As for running anything on it we are running an ARMA server already but just for coop missions with only about 2-4 people playing at once if ever. But as I said it's specs are(Dallas, Texas ,Quad core,4 gb of ram,500 gb hard drive,3,000 gb of bandwidth, and 100mbps uplink port.) We also have a Vent server you can use for free. Because you guys would be paying would grant you full access to everything and full privacy. I know you guys have had problems with people back stabbing you and so have we that's why we are looking for someone to share the server box with who we can trust and vice versa. For CL is better 2*3GHz than 4*2.5GHz (thanks to arma2 "multi" processing).

I can donate server for free (70-95% chance I get it).
I will provide more info within 10 days (I hope tomorrow). Don't wanna promise something first without being able to realize it.

Right now Server is barely used by any of us. Donation to give to someone for free, if want that then i need to communicate with Jake personally myself. You guys have had problems with people back stabbing you , but i dont want anyone to back stab mine and take your server away just like that .

If you actually read, they want someone who is willfully will let them use an extra server for no cost!  They have enough trouble finding donations for the servers they currently have already let alone more expenses.

We are not talking about costs about 20€. A good and reliable server costs much more than this we know.
When we get a cheap (price) server, we are very thankful for this too. But I cannot decide alone, so we have to talk about first.
For free would be much better because we want to host more than one or two servers, so would everyone get 20 or 30€ from us, we could not pay it.

And that is why we want to ask clans if they have an unused server.

don't we german ppl get pings like hell if the server is located in another country? (for example i got 2000DSL)

Depends on where the server is located, yes.
But we take care about the German community. So do not worry.

If we would have a Russian server, the Russians would play on it only because they have the best pings there. Same for US and Australia.
The whole server performance would be much better with more servers on different continents.
