Progress on Sahrani Life 1.26

- fixed: Taxi mission - civ does not run away
- fixed: starving message appears again
- changed: vehicles now only despawn when the player who bought it disconnected
- added: Guilds form groups
- changed: workers do not disappear when the player dies
- added: grenades for M203 in cop base
- added: player can choose a button for the saytext

While we got most of these features working now, we will try to add a coop mission for the guilds, where they can teleport to a small island and fight against russian units.
edit: I forgot to say that the release will be in around 1-2 weeks.

Verbal, new cars and units doesnt make any sence. There will be ArmA2 soon and we need to get read yfor that, making an addon version is stupid.

yes stryker, but arma 2 coming not about 1 - 2 months i think and after release need issetea few months to script all and make a arma 2 map... on this time we can have a full nice SL RPG map...whit a good map can we play arma and arma 2 and wait for a issetea Version for a2

Dont think so, its just convertion to ArmA 2 and that takes.... not more than 1 month i think cause in ArmA 2 there is same script system as in ArmA 1

For ArmA2, we will have to change all the classnames which will take a lot of time.

btw the first guild mission seems to work now - the leader of the guild accepts a mission and then the whole guild has the action to teleport to the fighting area. The guild then has to capture a small town and gets money for every minute they stay in it (while no enemy stays in the area). The mission ends after 30 minutes.

On the subject for the Guild Side Missions:
I really like this idea, I was hoping for some thing like this. Always thought some kind of Volenteer work in South Sahrani Would have worked great to keep things calm on the server if there was some kind of struggle in South Sahrani.

What I'd like to know is:
Is the mission random? Location and Enemy.
Do you need AT for this mission?
What happens when multiple guilds at the same time activate the mission?
What other type of missions are you thinking of adding?

- Random enemies will spawn in that area (infantry + bmps)
- They will respawn as long as the map is running
- A weapon crate will give you all the needed weapons and ammo
- When teleporting back the weapons will be removed
- Only one guild can accept the mission at the same time
- Location is a small island north west of Sahrani
- we are not sure about other coop missions

sounds great :D nice that pll have now to shoot something , so they can do there stuff.

hope there are not spawning to much enemys, so no lag.

if u fly over with a chopper i hope u get spawned back in base, so u cant use the weapons there.

looking forward to it...

chopper....need only few AI whit anti air rockets  8-)

Only people in the guild can teleport to that place and back (weapons will removed on the way back). For other people it's a prohibited area and the people in that area are only allowed to leave it via a teleport back to the flag where they accepted the mission (Currently the guild flag at City Hall).
